Glenn DiPasquale, Ph.D., C. Psych.

Dr. Glenn DiPasquale is a Registered Psychologist. He holds an Honours B.A. from the University of Waterloo , and a Ph.D. from the University of Western Ontario, where he specialized in the study of reading problems in children.

Prior to his current private practice as a speaker and consultant, Glenn worked for the York Region District School Board for over 30 years, and was the Chief Psychologist there for 17 of those years. In addition, he has been a part-time faculty member at both York University in Toronto, teaching in the Faculty of Education, and at Royal Roads University in Victoria, B.C., teaching in the Conflict Management Masters program.

Glenn was a member of the Study Group on School Violence at the LaMarsh Centre for Research on Violence and Conflict Resolution at York University, and continues to be involved with the Centre as an External Associate.

He was also co-chair of the Working Group on the Definition of Learning Disabilities, an expert panel assembled by the Learning Disabilities Association of Ontario, funded by a grant from the provincial government. He continues to be involved with the project on the Advisory Committee for the Web-Based Teaching Tool. He is also on the Board of Directors of the LDAO.

Glenn is the author of a textbook chapter, many journal articles and book reviews, and a best-selling booklet on school bus discipline, as well as co-authoring the on-line teacher resource "The ABCs of Mental Health". He is in high demand as a speaker on a wide variety of topics related to School Psychology, Child Psychology, Education and Wellness.

Over the years Glenn has been honoured with an Educator of the Year award from the Ontario Council for Exceptional Children, and led a group that earned the first Public Education Award from the Ontario Psychological Association.
